This might be more of a business question than a real estate question.
My wife and I are looking to purchase a property for the purpose of opening a group home for the elderly. It had been used for something similar.
Would it be ok to purchase in our name now and later switch to a business name with an LLC?

Deeding to LLC
Sure, you can deed free & clear RE to your LLC anytime you want.
Do remember to record the deed so it shows in deed records that you’ve deeded it to your LLC.
