Hi all,
I know a LL who want to sell his rental home soon and cash out on it (i.e. no 1031 exchange) I would like to buy it but he is worried about capital gains tax hit. What is a creative way (no bank loan) to get this home and save the gentleman on his cap gains taxes with out him needing to homestead it? This is in Texas. Thanks in advance.
