Purchasing Non-Performing Notes HELP

Ed,

I’ve been approached by at least 2 different sources who are asking me to use borrowed money, their money, and buy non-performing notes (in bulk) in my region, get them performing and we’ll sell them back off for a profit. They are doing this around the country with success. It sounds like a great addition to what I’m doing, but I’m not 100% on some of the details. I thought of you and thought you could help. Suggestions please, on buying 100’s of NPN’s in my Mid-West region of the country and getting them performing.

Suggestions and step by step on what you think these guys are doing.

“get them performing” highly unlikely

Every lawyer who has much business practice would tell you he/she has a number of old uncollectible notes in his file cabinets and he/she’d probably sell you the whole collection for pennies.

You think “getting them performing” is likely to happen but that’s sure not so in my experience.

Tell that note seller to call you when he has all those notes performing again
